AI Summarizer

AI Summarizer is a Google Chrome extension that uses AI to summarize only the content you choose. With menus, ads and comments left out, the AI processes less text: the summary comes out more accurate and costs less.

What it can summarize

  • Part of a page: point at the article, section or post with a picker like the DevTools one.
  • The whole page: the page's main content, in one go.
  • PDFs: every page or just one, read in the browser itself.
  • Text files opened in Chrome, such as .txt and .md.

How it works

  1. Open the extension's side panel and sign in with your Google account.
  2. Choose the content: a selection, the whole page or the PDF.
  3. Adjust the options if you like: model, style (summary, bullet points, detailed, simple or study notes), length, effort, language and free-text preferences, such as "focus on the numbers".
  4. See the price before confirming, and watch the summary being written, already formatted.

Features

  • History with search and filters by type, site, model, style and period.
  • Translations of a summary into other languages, without summarizing the page again.
  • Export the summary as Markdown (.md) and copy the text.
  • Interface in English and Portuguese, with light and dark themes.

Credits

  • Each summary and each translation uses credits, depending on the content's size and the model, effort, style and length chosen. The price shows up before you confirm, and it's exactly what's charged.
  • Every new account gets 1,000 credits on its first sign-in.
  • If the AI fails, the credits come back automatically.
  • Prepaid credits, no subscription. Buying packs via Pix is coming soon.

Privacy

The extension only reads a page when you ask, and the page's text isn't stored. The details are in the extension's privacy policy, in the links above.
